A Book By Its Covers
The NYT has gathered up images of many of The Great Gatsby book covers. Take some time to look these over, and think about which ones you like more than the others. Read through the article in 'The Book' section of this website to learn about the background of some covers. After that, choose another classic book and create a Pinterest board to share at least five different book covers of that title. Create captions for the pins to share the year that specific cover was created.
Review Comparison
After reading the LA Times article linked on the 'The Book' page, search in Book Review Digest Plus and Book Review Digest Retrospective for 'The Great Gatsby' or another title by F. Scott Fitzgerald. On the left side of the screen, select 'reviews' as your source. Choose one review from before 1975 and one from after 2000. Compare and contrast these reviews using this Venn Diagram tool.
